Must Have Wordpress Plugins For Every Blog
I figured I’d post of some of the plugins that every blog should install, no matter what the subject of your blog is. These will help with Wordpress SEO and just make running your blog and managing it much easier. If you feel like I have left one off please let me know in the comments.
1. Wordpress Stats – This is an offical plugin from Wordpress that provides you with incredible stats for your blog such as most viewed posts, referrers and most clicked links. Plus it puts your stats right in your dashboard for easy viewing.

2. All In One SEO Pack – This is the ultimate Wordpress SEO plugin. It allows you to manage title tags and description/keyword meta tags on a per post basis. It’s actively developed as well.

3. Google XML Sitemaps – Generate a sitemap for not only Google but MSN and Yahoo as well. It is fully customizable so that you can set it up to your needs and beliefs as far as SEO goes. Don’t want Category pages in your sitemap? No problem. Have just one category that you want to exclude? No problem as well. The sitemap is automatically built after you create a new post and rebuilt after you edit a post.
4. Feedburner Feedsmith – RSS Feeds are the best way to capture return readers so it helps to have information on how people are using your feed and how well people are finding and subscribing to your feed. Feedburner, now owned by Google, is the best way possible to get this information and they have a plugin just for Wordpress that makes all RSS links point to your Feedburner account. Configuring it is as easy as entering your Feedburner URL.

5. Breadcrumb NavXT – A breadcrumb provides your users with a way to easily navigate around your site from your content. It also shows search engines the flow of your content. It’s a simple install and helps provide a professional touch to your blog!
All blogs should have these four plugins installed. If you don’t, what are you waiting for!
